Friends, I would like to explain why it is that the blog fell apart shortly after it started.

It really took the wind out of my sails when the cell phone got lost and it became much more of a chore to keep up with the blog. With as litlle as time as we had at each stop I didn't want to be anti-social and update a blog by downloading camera pics from the camera....then uploading to the blog then writing something about each picture.

So, that being said sorry it ended up being a bust.

Keep your ears to the ground as the blog is not dead I am just gonna change the title.......

They have done a wonderful job on the memorial site and here are a couple pics to prove it......and as a reminder soon there will be more Pics on my Facebook page of the memorial.

The green field is the APM Building footprint....each chair represents each victm and what floor they were on and all the small chairs (not easily depicted) represents a child that was killed.

Ok so, I start the day off without a phone and now have to report all pics from my camera to the blog. That being said day 3 was sort of blah.....depression from a lost phone.

By the end of the trip I was having a better day or at least feeling better. We headed from West Memphis, AR to Yukon, OK. Yukon is like 15 minutes west of Oklahoma City, OK.

Day 2.......On our way to Memphis, Tennesee

Good morning to all.....well I shall start today with a brief description of why I am not on two wheels.

And in order to keep it short and sweet I will simply say that....the individual that was supposed to drive the truck baled on me 12 hours before the trip and failing to give me ample time to find a back up driver. It is what it is and I will make the best out of a crappy situation.

Now, on to today! Looks to be a great day for a trip across Tennesee. Weather should be good, keeping the drive easy. Beale Street in Memphis sounds like a good time. We have already got some tips on good rib locations and drinking establishments.

The intent of the state signs was just to show when I crossed state lines. I didnt post Tennesee cause I was trying to keep myself on the road and failed to send it later so that being said the next post.....better late than never. I guess?

Ok, so here is the first offical post.....

Let me start by explaining why I even have a blog. My true friend Sam at Unholy Moto blogged the work he and Merlin did on my bike to get me prepped for this trip. So, I decided to create this blog to share with them and whomever else is intrested in following ride. Thanks a million boys.....

Its Tuesday the 31st and I have basically 4 days to finish prepping for the trip. We leave out Frederick, Maryland at 0600hrs to meet in Hagerstown, Maryland for breakfast and to get the group together. We hit the groud running at 0800 and there is no looking back.

There will be a hand full of guys taking alternate routes in the begining but will be joining our group before day one ends.

I want to welcome all the blog followers as it looks to be a fun trip. I hope to keep it intresting for you or at least interesting enough to keep you coming back for more.
